For fresh florals, keep in a cool place; refresh the water every 2 days; trim the stems, cutting at an angle.
For plants, place in indirect sunlight, water when the soil is dry to the touch by soaking, then drain. Trim off any unwanted blooms and foliage.
For fresh-cut hydrangeas, at the first sign of wilting, submerge the entire head in lukewarm water for 30-60 minutes. Cut the stem at an angle and place it in water until hydrated; return the stem to the arrangement.
